I just got home from my first visit to a store here in the East Valley – Nature’s Health Shoppe (www.natureshealthshoppe.com). In the past three weeks, two friends of mine have mentioned this store, so I thought I should check it out. I looked online at their website to get a feel for what they offered. I liked what I saw.
Just from perusing the website, it reminded me of a store in Phoenix that I go to, Healthy Habit (www.healthyhabithealthfoods.com). Healthy Habit is not too convenient for me since I live in Tempe. I plan my trips there around my haircuts since my hairdresser is across the street. (Side note, it is a good thing my hairdresser doesn’t rely on me for her livelihood; I can’t remember the last time I got my hair cut.) That said, finding a more convenient supplement and health food store that could be the East Valley equivalent of Healthy Habit has been on my list of things to do.
As the days passed, I looked at the website another time or two. One of my friends told me about this specific store when I asked her where she buys her bee pollen. I started taking bee pollen at the beginning of 2014 and knew I would need to buy some more soon. I still have plenty for another couple weeks, however, I don’t want to get to the point where I am almost out and then end up in a situation where I can’t find any. That would bring on unnecessary stress that I have complete control over so I decided to go to the store sooner than later.
Today is the day. I walked every aisle in the store. Yes, Nature’s Health Shoppe is what I have been looking for. I can see that they have competitive pricing. They carry a lot of supplement brands that I am familiar with. They have my bee pollen. While making my purchase I talk to Dan, one of the owners, about how this was my first visit and that I really like the store.
He tells me about a 10% coupon that they email monthly. He gives me a website I didn’t know existed (www.natureshealthaz.com) and tells me to enter my email address in the upper right corner to receive the coupon every month. He gives me the discount today and assures me that I won’t get a bunch of emails from them. I thank him and tell him that I will visit their store often. This is definitely a place worth checking out if you live in the East Valley!
