10/25 Health & Wellness Tip – Get Outdoors

For those of us living in Arizona, we can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that the 100+ days are over. Even though it didn’t happen overnight, I am always amazed how quickly we go from an overnight low in the 80s to the mid-60s.

I don’t mind the heat of summer. I still get outdoors. The time I get outside for shifts from the summer to the winter. In the summer, I am up at the crack of dawn, or before, to get in a hike. During the winter, I can go in the middle of the day, and usually do since I do prefer some heat.

I know everyone is not like me though. I often hear from my coaching clients that they want to start walking outside now that the weather has cooled off. Awesome! Getting into nature is a great way to relieve stress and we really are intended to spend some time outdoors everyday, at least I think so.
